Must reside in the Metro Washington DC, Fairfax, Falls Church, VA areas. Non-local candidates will not be considered for this position. Only candidates with RECENT processing experience will be considered.

This assignment has an estimated duration of 6 to 7 months. Essential duties as follows:

• Entering initial data

• Obtaining Flood Certificates

• Ordering appraisals

• Reviews and other web-based verifications

• The receiving of all couriers, mail, parcels and faxes; responsible for distributing of the packages or faxes to the intended receiver

• Answer incoming phone calls in a timely and courteous manner

• Route the calls to the appropriate person or take messages

• Ability to handle other duties that may arise

• Demonstrates a commitment to quality customer service

• Obtains necessary information (i.e. loan applications, credit documents, appraisals, etc.) to process and complete mortgage loan files

Requirements
* 5+ years of retail mortgage loan processing experience is required-FHA and VA, commercial, conventional, bond/housing authority, and non-conforming loans

Minimum experience level is 5+ years (must currently be acting in a Processor role or VERY recently). Only candidates with RECENT retail mortgage processing experience will be considered

• Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills

• Basic computer knowledge

• High school diploma or equivalent
